Yes, you play the role of Tiger running away from his wife in his SUV, with one of his “lady friends” sitting shotgun. I wonder what his wife is so mad about? We kid, we kid. Our top score was 115. Haunted House, an exciting mini game by Silent Bay Studios is currently available for play at miniclip.com during this 2009 Halloween season. This FPS – first person shooter delivers fun game play with frequent scares! In this spooky browser based game, you are given the task of cleaning out the haunted manor that is infested with ghosts, who are intent on running anyone and everyone out of “their” home. You are equipped with ghost-vision goggles and ghost zapper gun in order to carry out your mission of “cleaning” the manor.

I remember how much fun it was in the summer to gather all my neighborhood mates, split up into teams and have water gun wars. Hiding in the neighbors bushes, climbing up into trees, and even jumping into garbage cans, we silently awaited for the approach of our victims. I so wish that I could do that again. What a rush! If you are like me, you would love to do it again, even as an adult.. Stop lying to yourself, you know you would!

Wait, what? I can? How? No way…

Apparently there is a secret society of Water Gun war enthusiasts that play this game with tenacity, dedication and ninja like reflexes. It’s called StreetWars – a 3 week long, 24/7, watergun assassination tournament that has already taken place in New York City, Vancouver, Vienna, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Chicago, Paris and is now coming back to New York City

Imagine, if you will, signing up to become a Street Wars Assassin, where you have a meeting with the Top Boss in the back of some dark club on the sketchy side of town. This is the real deal – Hollywood style!! You are given a dossier, complete with your TARGET’S information: their home address, their business address, photos and more. All people in the game agree to give this information to the Street Wars officials. You then embark on a 3 week mission to take out your target by studying their moves and observing their patterns. If you are successful in taking out your target, they have to give you the target(s) that they are currently hunting. Sure to give anyone an instant adrenaline rush, you will never leave your home in the same fashion again, as long as you know that someone might be hunting you down. That paperboy sure looks suspicious… <silence> <squiiiiiiiiiirt>

When night falls on October 31st, many of you know that the dead emerge from their graves, in search of brains. Should you find yourself in a graveyard on Halloween night, while driving a hearse, you will be glad that I shared this game with you – Zombies Hit And Run.

The object of the game is to drive your hearse through a series of graveyards, in the dead of night (pun intended) and run over all the zombies that stand in your way. As you drive through the graveyards you must collect a series of keys that allow you to exit each graveyard zone. The challenge comes into play as you have to avoid hitting the oncoming headstones that slow your hearse down and cause vehicle damage.

Guess what happens when you hearse stops due to vehicle damage…that’s right, you become dinner. I forgot to mention that there is lots of fog and driving rain, which definitely sets the mood. Today is October 31st. I guess you had better start practicing now before night falls upon us in a couple of hours.

Nothing gets my adrenalin pumped more than a great haunted house attraction or thrill park. It has been a long standing tradition in my family, since I was a kid, to attend the haunted houses in the Houston area. Before the advent of the internet, I always used to listen intently to the local radio station for the haunted house advertisements and then plan my tour accordingly. Those were great times back then and even today.

Enter the internet. Today, the web is filled with local and national haunted house/attraction lists, guides, and even individual websites devoted to particular houses of horror, some of which are graphically stunning.
