Hulk Hogan, one of my childhood heroes, like many other children of the 80′s, has long been a cornerstone of Wrestling entertainment. The other night while I was watching re-runs of The Office, I could not believe what my eyes were seeing when Terry Hulk Hogan came sliding across the screen in a Rent-A-Center commercial. Yes!! I exclaimed, Hulk is back! I have always loved what Hulk has stood for – America, Freedom, & Kindness (well, except when he was with NWO – bleccchh).

I think the combination of Hulk Hogan and Troy Aikman is perfect! This commercial is pretty funny, once you get past the fact that two superheroes are peddling rent to own furnishings. Troy, an American football star – past quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, delivers his pitch with no-hype and little excitement. Add some Hulk Hogan in the mix and you have instant excitement and over the top delivery!

The two opposite poles make for a light-hearted, funny combination. Cheers for the marketing department over at Rent A Center! While a regular commercial from them may go unnoticed, you can’t ignore Hulk Hogan.

I say more companies should have Hulk Hogan as their spokesperson. At least you will pay attention, BROTHER!

David Garibaldi is an artist that you should be watching, literally! David, a resident of Sacramento, California is an amazing performance artist who has painted in front of NBA crowds, with the Blue Man group, at charity functions, companies, churches, and more. Known for his explosive style and incredible skills, David always captivates his audience with his passion for his craft.

His Rhythm and Hue performance art show includes scores of music and a stage where David dunks his array of brushes into vibrant buckets of paint and powerfully attacks his 6 foot canvas to create portraits of iconic subjects, such as: Elvis, Santana, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Einstein, Obama, and others. What sometimes looks like the fits of a madman is the emotional explosion of David’s skills being ignited by the energy of his music, his subject, and his connection with the unknown possibility of what is to become another cherished piece of art. Always finishing his work with his signature, a bright yellow high five, you know that you have reached your final destination in the visual journey he takes you on, a completed painting and the big reveal!

This is something you must see. You could write the most amazing description in the world but it just wouldn’t do justice. It is important to surround yourself with positive people, music and the arts and with David Garibaldi, you get all of that and more. Support your local artists and those abroad. If you ever get the chance to watch David live, I hear that you will be in for a treat. I do hope to see him someday and purchase one of his pieces.

After helping friend, @aplusk, Ashton Kutcher, reach his million twitter follower goal and beat out CNN, @iamdiddy is now basking in the glory of this coveted twitter number with @aplusk cheering him on. I’m on an impression kick right now, so what! I can’t get enough of great impressions. While posting up about Brock Blake and his awesome impression abilities, I came across Max Koch. This dude is the king, when it comes to impersonating Tony Soprano and Christopher Moltisanti from The Sopranos (quite possibly one of the best shows on cable television, EVER!!) He is so good in fact, that he even has their unique facial expressions and body movements down pat! His impressions of Tony and Christoper are so close to being perfect that if you compared Max’s impressions to Tony and Christopher’s voices, their frequencies, pitches and inflections would probably match. You gotta see this to believe it.

This is a post for “The Tim Allen’s”, “Garage Tinkerer’s”, and “Disciples of Destruction” out there, who are plagued with an insatiable hunger for creating things with more power. So, what does this have to do with Milwaukee’s Best Light Beer? Well, one gentleman, who works for this branch of the Miller beer company, named Chris, hired a dude, named Briggs to complete the construction of the Briggs’ Beer Cannon. 

Why would Chris do that? Why not! What better way to entertain friends and enjoy a couple of cold ones than to stand around a huge beer cannon and shoot various objects at all kinds of targets in order to see how much damage this thing can cause! It’s also an awesome advertising play.  Check out the massive destruction below in this awesome montage of slow motion impact goodness. It’s no secret that I love coffee. It’s also not a secret that I am very particular about my coffee. Hell, some might even call me a coffee snob. If there is one thing you should know, it’s this: DON’T SCREW AROUND WITH MY COFFEE. Don’t change it. Don’t buy another brand. Don’t try to pull the old switcheroo. Why? In all seriousness, I really don’t like my coffee messed with, okay? However, the real point of this post was to pay tribute to one of my heroes: Chris Farley. It deeply saddens me that he is no longer with us and so many people missed out on the great glory days of Saturday Night Live. Chris Farley passed away 12 years ago in 1997 at the young age of 33.

Chris, I hope that you are having a blast with John Candy, Richard Pryor, and George Carlin, wherever you guys are…

This dude is really talented: from script/cursive to skulls, cobras to hearts, and even abstract/geometrics, Scott’s talent shines through. Apparently his tattoos are in high demand, as he is only available by appointment and at the time of this blog post it appears that he is completely booked…go figure!! Did you take your lunch in brown paper sack like me? Did you have problems finding your lunch when it got mixed about with all the other lunches? Yeah, me too. Well, I know that there are some very lucky kids on this planet that will never have that problem. Why? Because their father creates them one of a kind lunch bags with some of the illest drawings you have ever seen on a lunch bag! This proud papa takes his lunch break to create these super lunch bags.

I would have been the coolest kid at school with lunch bags like these. This unamed artist, at least I can’t find his name, while writing this post, is seriously skilled.
